What's that on Cujo's and Mason's Sticks?
April 8, 2009:
When I first saw some minor hockey kids using bladetape I thought it was an interesting idea that might have some decent applications and would definately be that rare hockey item that parents could afford as a small gift for their kids. When I noticed Cujo using BladeTape though, the lightbulb went on! Of course, it may well have practical uses, but we goalies love our gear and this is a whole new way to express yourself and put a little more design into your gear - and probably for a lot less than the $600-$1400 is costs for a new custom paint job on your mask. Nick Dube is the resident goalie - and more importantly the Director, Operations & Business Development- at BladeTape and he was kind enough to provide me with the photographs in this article and take the time to chat a bit about BladeTape for goalies.
