Installation - Tip Tape
1. Test fit with backing paper on and determine your desired gap/spacing.
DO NOT OVERLAP GRIPTAPE UPON ITSELF. IT WILL NOT STICK RUBBER TO RUBBER DUE TO PATTERNED SURFACE. 2. Remove backing paper and start by placing one end of GripTape length to TOP of stick shaft. Secure on wider shaft face (forehand shot face) of the stick to start wrapping motion.
3. Coil/unwrap onto stick shaft from top downwards. Right hand shots - coil onto stick in a counterclockwise motion (as viewed from end of shaft downwards). Left hand shots - coil onto stick in clockwise motion (as viewed from end of shaft downwards).
FOLLOW THESE STEPS CAREFULLY FOR BEST PERFORMANCE.
4. Refit/adjust as required, ensuring no air bubbles.THEN PRESS FIRMLY IN PLACE WITH HANDWARMTH.
5. Wrap butt end with traditional cloth hockey tape to create knob (as desired).
COVER ENDS OF GRIPTAPE WITH SINGLE WRAP OF TRADITIONAL CLOTH HOCKEY TAPE FOR LONGER LASTING PERFORMANCE.
